The Cricket World cup 2011 is over but still the hype is in the air. To some extent it is justified for seeking a reason by the people to celebrate and politician to make futile effort to win the sentiments of mass and media. One can understand the soppiness of people with the cricket but sometimes it ignores the honor and sanctity of nation and its heroes. Is it right to hype the game to this extent? Specially talking about cricket. Most of the participants were from developing countries and most of them are smaller than the many of Indian States. The game is not our national game. Moreover the game has restricted outreach. Seems people love easy going things. India do not even qualify in few qualifying rounds of FIFA.
